”What a happy woman I am living in a garden, with books, babies, birds, and flowers, and plenty of leisure to enjoy them!”

THIS SUNDAY
Join Us for a ReadAround in the Garden
What happy women we are, to be writing in the garden! Come listen to our stories.
Please join us for a Public ReadAround this Sunday celebrating our spring writers, featuring women sharing their written stories and current works-in-progress. Friends, family, and folks who are interested in supporting and being a part of our writing community are welcome. We’re celebrating our own metamorphoses, our personal transformations, within a changing world. Join us for an intimate sharing as we tell the new stories of our lives.
Please note: For women and those who identify as female only, please.
Register HERE.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO LATELY
Independent Bookstore Day and More
After enjoying a fantastic Tea Party celebrating the artists from our Metamorphosis art exhibition, this week we took our interns out to hug some trees, wore denim and listened to the women writers at the Surviving to Thriving event at Bab’s Lab put on by The Women’s Center of Jacksonville, then enjoyed meeting authors and fans at multiple local independent bookstores last Saturday. Did you know we have five women-owned bookstores in the Jacksonville area? Come meet them at our Author Showcase and Book Festival on June 1! Get your tickets now.—JW
