“What has meaning for one of us turns out to have meaning for many of us. And as we are telling these truths about our lives the world is splitting open to reveal untold surprise and mystery.”

THIS SATURDAY
Join Us for a CommUNITY Circle
Yellow House is setting for ’And Justice for All’ Circle
The cover art for our fifth anthology, (a) river rising: Anthology of Women’s Voices, is by artist Hope McMath, founder of Yellow House. The art is a fitting tribute to her ongoing pursuit of creating justice for all in Jacksonville and beyond.
This Saturday, join us for an Artist Talk, Community ReadAround, and CommUNITY Circle to honor not only Hope’s work, but that of the many artists and writers who contributed to the anthology and our ongoing journey to justice, as individual creators and a collective community.
This circle will feature writers from the anthology, an artist talk by Hope, and facilitated conversations as we work to create more conscious community. This is an all-gender event, open to anyone in the community. Register HERE.
Cheers,
Jennifer Wolfe

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO LATELY
Springtime Gatherings
We’ve had the pleasure this spring of gathering indoors and out: in the beautiful backyard of potter Jamie Emmanuelli as we shaped containers symbolizing our safe space circles, at Femme Fire Books combining some of our greatest loves—circles + books + representation + community; on Osceola Street for our spring classes; and in the kitchen, baking bread (by Tina) and breaking bread, together. Hope to see you at one of our events this spring!—JW
