Ruth Asawa’s ”Through Line” Exhibit at the Whitney
In writing memoir, we always look for the thread—the through line—that runs through the story and connects all the parts and pieces. For Ruth Asawa, drawing was that through line. Though the exhibit is now over, we suggest you look up her work. And consider for yourself: What is my through line? —JW

The Last Word
From the book ‘Judy Chicago-isms‘
“I believe that my circle methodology, which emphasizes that every voice is important, and an art education that focuses on content, rather than form, can be applied in a variety of ways, and at a variety of levels, and by people who aren’t at all famous.”
—Judy Chicago
