NEW EXHIBIT AT THE RITZ
Support Our Zora Neale Hurston Fellows
Teresa Cook and Emily Mitchell featured in new exhibit at the Ritz Theatre
After a big weekend celebrating the release of our annual anthology, Spaces and Places, we’re excited to offer you a complementary experience: an art exhibition featuring two of the artists in the book! Teresa Cook and Emily Mitchell were our Zora Neale Hurston Fellows for 2024–2025 and provided the seed art for the anthology. Now they’re opening a larger exhibit at the Ritz Theatre.
Opening Night this Thursday at 6 p.m.
Join us for opening night this Thursday, December 11, from 6–8 p.m. at the Ritz, with an artist talk from 6:30–7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. A cash bar will be available. Thank you for supporting these two vibrant artists of our community in a vibrant community setting!
Pick Up More Copies of the Anthology
Copies of the anthology will also be available, along with journals, T-shirts, and copies of Teresa’s coloring book on the spaces and places of Jacksonville.
Hope to see you this weekend! This event is free and open to the public.
