Jennifer Wolfe

Jennifer Wolfe is a writer, facilitator, nonprofit director, and community animator. As the founder of Women Writing for (a) Change® Jacksonville, she uses writing as a powerful tool for personal, organizational, and community transformation.

A former journalist turned facilitator, Jennifer has facilitated hundreds of writing circles in Jacksonville and beyond, including international writing retreats, helping others discover their creative voices and the transformative power of their own words.

At Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville, she facilitates writing circles, curates art exhibitions, leads a leadership development program, designs community events, and highlights the leadership of women and girls.

She also publishes an annual anthology of women writers and artists and established the Zora Neale Hurston Fellowship Program to support women artists of color.

Her community work has included writing circles and collaborations with the Women’s Center of Jacksonville, Generation W, Yellow House, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Mayo Clinic, Eartha’s Farm & Market, the Community Transition Center for justice-involved women, and many other organizations. Central to her work is the belief that writing and creative expression should be accessible to a wide and diverse community.

A fan of bluegrass, birding, and tree-hugging, Jennifer brings her passions for conservation, creativity, and equity to everything she does.
