Scholarship Program
We established the WWf(a)C scholarship program to reduce financial barriers that might prevent individuals from participating in the WWf(a)C community of writers due to financial or other barriers. Scholarship funds help pay WWf(a)C tuition fees of eligible individuals.
Eligibility is based on two factors: 1) the applicant’s financial need and 2) her commitment to “being present” throughout the course or retreat, including regular attendance, to benefit from, and be an asset to the program. Our priority is to assist women and girls who could not attend without financial help.
To apply, follow the steps below:
- Fill out the application below (simply reply to this email)
- Give us an estimate of what you feel you can pay as a deposit for this class (minimum of $25 for the Series, or work in trade). We will send you an invoice/agreement for that amount.
- If you are applying for the Series, give us an estimate of what you feel you can pay for the balance, after the deposit. A sliding scale for tuition based on affordability is part of the ethos of this organization. Making sure our programs are accessible is important to us.
- If you decide on a payment plan, please propose one that will work for you.
The information you provide in your application will be kept confidential. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to receiving your application.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wolfe
