SUMMARY:Changing Tides: The Power of Women and Water
DESCRIPTION:“A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. 
 She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination pre
 pared to be herself and only herself.”— Maya Angelou\nWomen wear many h
 ats in both professional and personal roles\, and we are often pulled in mu
 ltiple directions. In this series\, using the imagery of rivers\, marshes\,
  and the ocean\, we will use our writing to explore the changing tides of n
 ature and the rhythms they can teach us about honoring our own.\nWe especia
 lly invite women who spend their time caring for others\; here you will fin
 d nurture and replenishment. Join us as we explore how water invites us to 
 rest and find solace\, to navigate changing tides\, and to embrace our own 
 power.\nWeek I: The Strength and Peace of Still Water invites us to cons
 ider how we find nurture for ourselves and savor it. \nWeek II: In The W
 ay of Pathfinding\, we will consider the imagery of the meandering river as
  a symbol for life. \nWeek III: Changing Tides\, as a metaphor for the eb
 b and flow of our life journey\, from the gentle lapping of water at the sh
 oreline to the rush of the ocean.\nClass size: Limited. Please register ea
 rly to ensure your spot.\nFacilitator: Mary Kendrick Moore\, certified fac
 ilitator with Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville. Open to anyone who
